What is ORCA?

The Oshawa Residents Community Association keeps members up-to-date with the latest news from council and committee meetings and important city matters. As a taxpayer, you have the right to know how decisions made at City Hall are impacting you and we are here to inform you.

Who is eligible to join ORCA?

Membership is free and open to any resident and business owner located full or part-time in Oshawa.

How do I become a member of Orca? 

You can become a member by signing up directly on our website or you can contact us via email at info@orca905.ca

What happens when I become a member?

Once you become a member, you will gain access to frequent emails summarizing local issues, public meetings and discussions and decisions made at City Council and Committee meetings.

What makes ORCA different?

​Our members. The participation of and input from our members will be to our individual and collection economic and community benefit. There is ‘strength in numbers’ and with a large membership we can affect and influence municipal spending and policies.

What is the purpose and mission of ORCA?

ORCA is an incorporated, professional, non-partisan, non-profit Community Association with a formal board that monitors city spending and advocates on behalf of the taxpayers of Oshawa, residents and businesses alike.
